Key skills:

• 6 years of application developer
• 5 years of .Net development
• STRONG UI/ASP.net experience
• Excellent communication skills: will be leading a team
• Global company so large industry experience is a huge plus!

 

Job Description:

Global company looking to bring in a .Net developer to help develop and support internal applications and be an integral part of the development and design team.

• Design and develop an enterprise-level product lease-management / sales performance tracking intranet application (the existing system was written with classic ASP and an Oracle backend).
• Use ASP.NET, C#, XML, etc. for redeveloping the UI and web services (the current Oracle database will remain the same with only minor enhancements expected)
• This system is used by over 500 internal users (sales representatives, management, etc.).
• Delegate easier programming activities to the junior developers on the team.

 

Experience / Skills needed:

• 6+ years of overall application development experience
• 5+ years developing .NET applications
• 2+ years of recent experience using C# to design and develop enterprise-level
• .NET inter/intranet applications ASP.NET 4.0 (or later) ADO.NET XML, web services
• Good communication skills
• Agile development methodology
• Developing stored procedures, queries, etc. in PL/SQL (or T-SQL)
• Mentoring junior developers on the team
