We are looking for an experienced QA-Lead with strong java development skills and in-depth knowledge of QA processes and tools and a passion for testing who can work with developers, PMs and testers, in an offshore-qa model.
JOB DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· In the QA-lead role you will help working as a liaison with our offshore-qa team of 15 people. Working with product managers and developers you will pro-actively improve the test coverage.
· Troubleshoot andisolate issues, file bugs and work with developers in resolving them and act as catalyst for the offshore-QA-team to make progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
· 7+ years of strong QA experience in developing automated test suites, test frameworks and adding enhancements to the test frameworks
· Leading/advising a team of 10+ offshore QA-engineers
· Strong in at least one OOP - Java (preferred) or C++
· Strong test automation experience for web applications using the Selenium tool

Job Description(Frontend):
- Good experience with developing web applications. At least two or three projects. (8+years for lead, 6+ years otherwise)
- Solid grounding in basic web development concepts like Servlets, JSP and any web container like Tomcat/JBOSS/Weblogic/Websphere. GlassFish is a plus.
- Knowledge of GWT is a very big plus but if not then some solid experience in any of the web frameworks like Struts, Struts2, Java Server Faces (JSF) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of writing and debugging Javascript is a must. (This includes how actual AJAX works without use of any libraries. This is because many candidates will say they know Javascript but wont know anything about how AJAX works. )

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Apache, performance tuning concepts, and web applications
• Experience using scripting languages to perform complex automation in a large-scale environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with development teams
