Position:  Java Developer
Duration:  18 months.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15203
 

Brief Description Of Assignment:

The successful candidate will perform the functions of a programmer/analyst for the Hire-to-Retire systems teams to analyze, develop, test, and implement enhancements to web applications using Object Oriented Design, J2EE, and IBM Rational Application Developer 6/7, following USS application development procedures.

 

Years of Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years application web development work experience.

 

Personal Skills Required:

  • Self-motivated
  • Well developed technical, analytical, and communication skills
  • Well developed ability to interpret abstract technical ideas and concepts effectively
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience managing multiple priorities for timely completion of assignments

 

Technical Skills Required:

Candidate should have technical development skills in:

·         Java

·         Servlets

·         JSP

·         XML

·         SQL scripting

·         J2EE standards

 

Candidate should also have experience with object oriented development using Rational Application Developer version 6 or 7.

Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus:

·         Experience using IBM Informatica

·         Experience maintaining Active Server Pages using .COM Objects
