Position: QA with Hogan/ Middleware
Location: San Francisco, CA (Need Someone Local to Bay area)
Duration: Long Term
Rate: $40/hr on C2C max
QA Experience Profile
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Banking/Finance domain as a QA Tester/Test Engineer
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies as well as different types of testing
- Experience in developing Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Reports
- Extensively performed Smoke testing, Functional testing, System testing, Regression testing and Data driven testing. Must have worked on Black Box Testing.
- Expert in Functional Testing of Web based applications.
- Experience working towards building a strong team/work environment, and have the ability to acclimate to new technologies and situations with ease.
- Highly motivated team player with excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Graduation in Finance and/or Technology related fields
Technical/Tools Experience Profile
- At least 1 year experience in testing financial/banking applications.
- Experience in working in an onshore/offshore operating model is preferred.
- Experience in tracking bugs and creating reports using defect tracing tools Clear Quest.
- Extensive Knowledge of Test Management tools like Quality Center is required.
- Work experience with Windows-95/98, 2000, XP, Windows NT 4.0, MS-DOS, UNIX, Linux is required.
- Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle 9i/8i, MS-SQL Server, MS-Access is a big plus.
- Knowledge of Web Technologies like Java Server Application, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Perl is a big plus.
- Knowledge of QTP is preferred.
