Location : San Diego CA

Duration : Contract dates: 10/1/2012 10/1/2013

Qualifications: 

Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the IT organization's knowledge of and concern for customer requirements. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability to create original concepts/theories for a variety of projects. Project planning and management including scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment. Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks. Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques. Familiar with project management techniques and development life cycle. Ability to lead special projects. Architect must have good coaching skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Application modeling skills, UML modeling, and an understanding of architecture process. Must have at least 10 years experience on Business Intelligence projects.

 

Experience and knowledge of SAS,

Business Objects,

Informatica,

Erwin,

Data Modeling,

ETL, Metadata, is required.

Deep knowledge and extensive experience with RDBMS required, experience with data warehouse appliances required. 

  

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for overall technical design as it relates to project scope. Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and issues. Liaison between client, technical team and vendor. Responsible for communicating enterprise technical standards including Security to vendor and technical team.
