TITLE: SAP TEST LEAD (FOR AN SAP BPC UPGRADE. BPC IS A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED)
LOCATION: FT. LAUDERDALE, FL
DURATION: 3 MONTHS WITH EXTENSIONS, LONG TERM

Position Summary:
The goal of the SAP Test Lead is to verify that the system under test meets project requirements by coordinating testing on the system after initial development has been completed (System Testing and User Acceptance Testing). The SAP Test Lead manages the test effort and is the overall owner of the test effort. At a high level the SAP Test Lead does the following on projects:
• Works with the QA Manager to define project-specific test processes
• Estimates and plans the system test effort
• Ensures the creation of test documentation and assets
• Manages/coordinates the execution of the test effort
• Reports on test status and raises test-related risks
The SAP Test Lead must have the ability to participate as a leader in the area of System Testing and User Acceptance Testing on Citrix IT projects.
The SAP Test Lead must be capable of communicating concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical & business abilities. The candidate must be recognized by his/her peers as an acknowledged "expert" in the area of testing. The candidate must have the ability to make sound decisions and to communicate the effect of those decisions to a broad audience.
Primary Accountabilities:
This individual works with IT project teams to coordinate system test and UAT efforts. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Test Planning
• Developing an initial estimates of the system test and UAT efforts
• Working with the QA Manager to tailor Citrix standard test processes to the project
• Developing and communicating the Test Plan
• Developing and communicating the Test Project Plan
Test Execution
• Ensuring the creation of System Test Cases and User Acceptance Test Cases
• Day-to-day management of the test effort including:
o Ensuring the team follows the project's test processes
o Ensuring testing occurs on schedule
o Identifying and mitigating risks to the test effort
• Managing the defect process and conducting defect review meetings
• Reporting testing progress and status to the project team
• Working with the technical team to ensure the test environment is configured for testing
• Coordinating with business users to ensure the UAT effort is carried out on schedule
• Acting as the point of contact for test team questions
• Assisting project manager in acquiring timely UAT sign-off
Qualifications:
The SAP Test Lead must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. The individual must be flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and quickly learning complex concepts. The individual must be expert in the area of testing with an understanding of test tools and how those apply to the overall testing process.
The SAP Test Lead should have a solid understanding of:
• Test process/methodology
• Test tools (HP Quality Center)
• SharePoint site
The SAP Test Lead should also have a working knowledge of:
• Requirements management
• Design and development strategy and tools
• Risk identification and management
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience,
• 6+ years in the area of Testing
• 3+ years in the role of Test Lead
• Prior experience leading system test efforts
• Experience in SAP testing is mandatory
