Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA with GoldenGate

Location: Manhasset, NY

Duration: Long Term

 

Need a candidate with 10+ Years of Experience who can go for Face 2 Face after telephonic

Job Description:          

 ·     Proven experience with managing high-performance, high-capacity databases in a critical production environment Solid Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC experience on Linux (Oracle and Redhat) and/or HP-UX including installation, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning. Experienced in Oracle Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) CRS management and configuration Skilled in Oracle ASM administration Solid infrastructure knowledge including high-availability solutions such as Oracle DataGuard, Goldengate, SAN-based replication technologies (SRDF), etc. Excellent SQL & database-level performance tuning skills Thorough understanding of backup, recovery and cloning using RMAN, datapump and export/import.

·         Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.

·         Experience with Oracle Exadata a plus.

·         Ability to write and maintain SQL and shell scripts as necessary to support database operations Able to work co-operatively with fellow team-members and application / development teams.

·         Willingness to work a late shift or split week including either Saturday or Sunday; Team player with excellent communication skills.
