Job Title:  SSRS Developer

Duration:  4-6 months

Location:  Chattanooga, TN

Start Date: ASAP

This is a 4 month project in Chattanooga, TN. Must have great communication skills. Originally came out as 1 position but has now been split into 2! So there are two openings! 

One is a SSRS Developer and the other is focused on C# (Visual Studios 2008 & Windows Forms Applications). All candidates must have excellent communication skills and will be required to test on their respective skill! 

They will hire from a phone/Skype interview! Interviews will take place on Tuesday of next week! Rates are flexible. Use 45-50/hr as a guide.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining SSRS 2005 reports and Visual Studio 2008 C# Windows Forms Applications to support BI reporting needs. 

Responsibilities/Work Duties: 

Work closely with the team lead to understand reporting and development requirements 

Develop, test, and document Visual Studio 2008 Windows Forms Applications with SQL Server database CRUD operations to meet project objectives for BI reporting 

Develop and test SSRS 2005 reports and stored procedures to support the reports 

Experience: 

3+ years hands on development with Visual Studio 2005/2008 C# with full software development lifecycle 

5+ years development experience with a modern programming language(s) such as Visual Basic, C#, Java standard edition, C, and/or C++ 

1-2 years SSRS 2005 development experience 

3+ years relational database experience which must include SQL Server and writing stored procedures 

Proven background analyzing data, writing/testing stored procedures, creating, and deploying SSRS reports 

Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end solutions to meet business challenges in a Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment with agile methodology 

Required Skills: 

Advanced skills with C# development of Windows Forms Applications with CRUD functionality 

Advanced skills with SSRS 2005 report development 

Advanced understanding of SQL 

Strong debugging skills is a must 

Must be able to analyze complex database schema to create reports 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Ability to work within tight deadlines and adapt to a rapidly changing environment 

Ability to clearly express ideas and proposed solutions 

Ability to provide a complex, efficient, and error free solutions 

Focused and organized with meticulous attention to detail 

Exceptional analytic, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills required 

Must be able to work independently 

Must be able to work within a small team environment 

Education: 

BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field from accredited University/College is a must.
