Job Title:Sharpeoint Admin

Location: Houston, TX
Duration :6Months
 
Skills/Experience Required:

* 3+ years experience in administration and maintenance of SharePoint MOSS 2007 and MOSS 2010 in a large corporate environment
* Experience providing support during upgrade from MOSS 2007 to MOSS 2010 including documentation and user training
· Identify strength on a scale of 1 to 10 in the following areas:
-Creating Custom Data Views
-Adding Users
-Monitoring Security

MOSS Certification preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
*The project will involve moving current infrastructure from SharePoint 2007 to 2010. This candidate will be able to support the design, implementation, and go-live/post implementation production support. Willingness to work hours as necessary, especially during critical issue resolution and milestone time periods.

Interact with external entities: vendors, service providers and product vendors.

Interfaces with IT application owners and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Escalates or resolves conflicts, as needed.

Security   
Web part configuration
Lists / templates
Site templates
Training on basics to users as questions arise
User questions/ User issue resolution
Responding to issues / problems in production and test environments
Migration of changes to production
Clean up of sharepoint environment in preparation for 2010 migration
