Linux Administrator with Hadoop

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: Long Term

Job Description

We are looking for a Linux administrator to help us out on some POC activity. This will also require him/her to be engaged in setting up Test plans etc on how to perform the POC.

In terms of Linux administration skills the following will be desired:

•             Strong knowledge on system administration, user account management and SUDO

•             Strong experience on Shell scripting

•             RPM creation, repository setup and Puppet experience desired

•             Hadoop administration knowledge will be an added plus though not mandatory
