Need Windows Administrator

Role:-Windows Server Engineer

Location:- Minneapolis, MN

Duration:- 6 month

 

Primary Skillset requirements:

* Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 support – 2 to 4 yrs experience

               - break/fix support

               - performance tuning

               - Windows Security Updates remediation (patching) [linked to SCCM below]

* Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM 2007) – 2 to 4 yrs experience

               - Collection creation using various WQL queries

               - Software Updates (deployment) [linked to Windows Security Updates remediation above]

               - Software Deployment Packages for third party products – example Adobe Acrobat, etc.

 

Secondary Skillset requirements:

* Microsoft Active Directory administration – 2 to 4 yrs experience

               - Group Policy administration

* VMware vSphere 4/5 administration – 1 to 2 yrs experience

               - break/fix support

               - performance tuning

               - Disk/memory adds, VMotions, DRS, HA and other general admin functions

 

Responsibilities and Additional Skills:

* Excellent customer service/communication skills

* MS Windows certifications are a plus

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

* Create documents to facilitate knowledge transfers to other team members
