Qualifications:
Project: Manage twenty two month project coordinating Sales, Marketing, Health Plan Operations, Network Contracting and Clinical Departments to develop and implement a plan to support the transition of 20,000+ members of a medical group from one health plan to another.
Role: We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled project manager for this role. S/He would be responsible for coordinating the activities of multiple business groups within the health plan and numerous offices at the medical group. Familiarity with Sales/ Marketing and health plan operations are critical. Familiarity with Medicare Advantage is a plus.
Timeframe: The initial engagement will start immediately (April 2012) and go through January 2014.
Skills:
o Requires well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional facilitation skills. Ability to present to both large and small groups. Ability to create presentations geared to different audiences.
o Requires competency with applying project management techniques, tools and methods and the use of Microsoft Project and MS Office suite of products. Maintain issues list, status, minutes and decision log to ensure escalation of critical items as needed
o Requires the ability to analyze and document work flows to meet the needs of the project. Interact with other project managers, team leads and IT to insure that all deliverables are met.
o Interactions will be frequent and varied between multiple areas of the health plan and the provider group. This will include Marketing, Sales, Enrollment, Customer Service, Network Contracting, Risk Adjustment, Clinical Services, IT, and provider offices.
o Support and coordinate activities with and between the health plan and the provider group. Some local travel to meet with staff as needed.
o Coordinate with the vendor & business to clearly identify resource needs and insure that they are available to meet project timelines. Plan and schedule required meetings to achieve these goals.
Experience:
Highly skilled Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience in managing complex projects in a managed care or other health care environment.
