Note:

Preference will be given to local candidates to TX.

 

Description/Required Skills:

• Very strong UI development skills are needed (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc).

• They will have very little Java work assigned.

• Expert in JQuery is a must.

• Expert in cross-browser CSS layout design is a must.

• They will be generating a lot of HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery template, and CSS and consuming services that return JSON and SOAP formatted data.

• Need someone more in line with a web designer with expertise in building dynamic UI components.

• Developers who have strong experience with server-side scripting such as JSP, and as well as a lot of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery experience will perform much better in this position.

• There is a strong probability they will not build *any* back-end Java code at all (or other application development languages). Therefore, Core Java, Hibernate, SQL, etc. skills are not nearly as important as phenomenal skills with UI technologies.
