Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

 

Web Methods :

 

·         Should be able to design Web Methods end to end solution independently.

·         Should be able to do functional and non-functional design using Web Methods pro

·         should be able to do design reviews and suggest design improve

·         Should have experience in testing methodologies for Web Methods product.

·         Should have an understanding of SOA and should have implemented web services based solutions.

·         Should have an understanding of implementing Web Methods solutions using more should contribute to technology forums-whitepapers, articles and innovation

·         Should be able to estimate and plan for an Web Methods implementation.

 

Apart from above proficiency:

 

1.       Should be able to understand the impact of dependent technologies and incorporate design.

2.       Should understand security solutions (in Web Methods context),backend systems, domain flows

3.       Should be able to identify technology/functional on-functional dependencies Web Methods implementation and plan for the same

4.       Should contribute to technology forums-participate in at least one seminar in speaker slot

·         Expert across multiple products

 

ESB :

 

·         Performing requirement collection, design review and architecting ESB and messaging applications

·         Proficient in SOA and Web service

·         Capable of suggesting best practice and alternate solutions for the applications

·         Capable of tuning the application for better performance and scalability

Responsibilities:

 

This position is for a DevOps - System Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying business applications by designing, automating and deploying applications from bare metal to running application container on deployed infrastructure. Systems engineers should have a strong background in configuration management enabling standard configurations for systems, network, and storage components.  This is a hands-on role working collaboratively with development and operations to enable quick builds in parallel project driven Agile development environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Participates in a team responsible for the design, implementation, and automate deployments of systems, network, and storage hardware and software

·          Point of contact for projects responsible to identify, design and deliver project infrastructure needs

·         Willing to assume any infrastructure work in the assigned project to drive delivery of the project within the standards set in infrastructure

·         Flexibility and ability to concurrently manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects

Desired Skills and Experience:

·         5-7+ years of Unix/Linux experience

·         Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, Firewalls, load balancers

·         Solid experience writing scripts with bash/python/perl

·         Experience with build tools (some or all) -  Gradle, Ant, Maven

·         Experience with VMware ESXI a must, KVM, XEN

·         Exposure to open stack

·         Experience in managing system configurations with tools like Puppet, Chef or Cfengine

·         Experience with open source monitoring tool chains such as Nagios, Graphite, Ganglia, Cacti, collected

·         Working Knowledge of storage networks and NAS/SAN hardware is a plus

·         Familiarity with some or all of the following: Apache, tomcat, mysql, memcached, Oracle and database clustering, etc.
